ReleaseVault: ASO Metadata Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
This policy explains how ReleaseVault: ASO Metadata, published under the HunCut brand, handles information in the current public version. It is specific to this app and should be read together with Apple’s platform privacy information.
Controller and contact
HunCut is responsible for this app. Questions and privacy requests: support@huncut.store.
Information handled by the app
Your app records, localized metadata, version history, notes and selected icons are stored on your device with SwiftData. When iCloud is available, they can synchronize through Apple CloudKit in your private iCloud database. HunCut has no dashboard for browsing that database and the app includes no advertising or analytics SDK. The photo picker provides only images you select. Optional access protection uses iOS device-owner authentication, including the device passcode when available; biometric data stays with iOS. Public App Store lookup sends the app identifier you enter to Apple to retrieve its public listing, without uploading your portfolio. Silent iCloud notifications support synchronization and do not create user reminders.
Permissions
The app may ask for the following Apple system permissions only when the related feature is used:
- Photos — select, save or attach images you choose.
- Face ID — lock access on this device; biometric matching is performed by iOS.
Purchases
Optional purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. HunCut receives transaction status and product entitlement information needed to unlock features, not your full payment-card details. You can manage subscriptions in iOS Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
Notifications
The app does not schedule user notifications in the audited feature set.
External services and recipients
The app requests functional data from: Apple CloudKit, Apple StoreKit, Apple iTunes Search API. Those requests may expose standard network information such as IP address to the provider. No advertising or cross-app tracking SDK was identified. Apple separately processes App Store, iCloud and operating-system services under its own terms.
Retention
Local records remain until you delete them or uninstall the app. Uninstalling alone does not remove private iCloud copies. Exported JSON backups and CSV files are not encrypted by ReleaseVault; they may contain your notes and metadata, and JSON also includes icons. Copies in Files, cloud drives or recipients’ devices remain until you remove them there. Keep backups in a location you trust. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to answer requests and meet legal obligations.
Delete your data
Delete records inside the app, uninstall it, and—if you want to remove synchronized copies—open iOS Settings › Apple Account › iCloud › Manage Account Storage and remove this app’s data.
Your choices
Revoke camera, microphone, photos, location or Face ID access at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security (or the app’s Settings page). Denying a permission affects only the feature that needs it. You may contact HunCut to ask about support correspondence or exercise applicable privacy rights.
Children
The app is not designed to collect personal information from children. HunCut does not knowingly build profiles of children or use targeted advertising.
Changes
This policy will be updated when app features, permissions or integrated services materially change. The date above identifies the current version of the notice.
